Assistant Manager
Insight Holdings located in Ohio City, Ohio, is a private Property Management/Development Company, searching for a talented Assistant Property Manager to join our team. This individual will juggle management responsibilities along with general administration and customer service tasks.
Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3+ years of Property Management Experience
- Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of people such as, management, peers, and outside contacts
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to quickly learn the organizational structure and objectives of the team
- -Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Responsibilities:
- Assist property manager to maximize cash flow at the property by maximizing revenue, minimizing delinquencies, ensuring timely rent collection, and contacting residents to collect overdue rent
- Assist with building and maintaining a community of residents through resident relations
- Makes recommendations to increase income, decrease expenses and grow net operating income
- Ensures property is leased at or above market occupancy and rent levels based on owners guidelines
- Ensures all property marketing is current, accurate, relevant and at its greatest effect
- Assist property manager to process all invoices generated by the property and ensure they are paid in a timely manner
- Make recommendations on marketing programs and leasing specials
- Assist property manager to post, collect, track and manage delinquency of rental and other income
- Ensure desired renewals are being captured at the highest rate possible and issued to the resident 60 days prior to lease expiration
- Assist the property manager to process delinquent residents according to policy, collect late fees, and file on units at the appropriate deadline
- Assist with owner statements, gathering property payables, making bill payments, processing deposits
- Assist Manager with weekly property inspections and reporting
- Ensure all preventative maintenance measures are being adhered to based on company policies and procedures.
- Ensure all fair housing laws are adhered to
- Assist with advising owners of upcoming expenses, taxes, registrations and all service requests over the specified dollar amount
- Preparation of 3-day notices
- Complete move in and out inspections and upload photos into property management software
- Lease and renewal preparation
- Assist with general office tasks such as filing, answering phone calls, assisting residents, etc
- Ensure that all maintenance service requests are responded to in a timely manner and inform residents of receipt of their service request.
